Missouri House Bill 737: New Renewable Energy Tax Incentive Legislation
Posted in Green Development and Energy Law, Real Estate FinanceGovernor Jay Nixon signed into law HB 737 on July 7, 2011, creating Missouri’s first comprehensive tax incentive for renewable energy projects. HB 737 amends the Missouri Enhanced Enterprise Zone program to create “renewable energy generation zones” which will allow local municipalities to provide for a reduction in real property tax liability for renewable energy projects.
